Xperia X10 With AT&T Bands
Marilyn Torres | December 21, 2009
It’s not not to get a little excited about an Android handset like the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 with the 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor. Last week, the handset passed through the FCC with only the T-Mobile 3G bands 1700/2100/900. Today, another version of the Xperia X10 handset has passed FCC inspections fully equipped with the 850/1900MHz bands necessary for the phone to access AT&T’s 3G network. Of course, this news could also mean that the X10 could go to a Canadian carrier with similar bands like Rogers or Telus. No doubt that the new year will bring some more news to confirm or deny the possibility of AT&T receiving its first Android handset. Then, I could finally decide if I’m possibly staying with AT&T or leaving the carrier for the sake subsidized Android option.
