Zune Spring Live Podcast w/ Mary Jo Foley Online

Chris Leckness | September 18, 2009

Loading ... Loading ...

oyzalbumcoverMary Jo Foley from All About Microsoft, who somehow gets away with leaking Windows Mobile related news, gets on the Zune Spring Live podcast with Travis. They discuss the Zune HD and even go into the future as she sees it. I won’t ruin the episode by detailing all of it, but I have a couple comments.

  1. Mary Jo said all previous Zune models should be buried. I take exception to that. Sure the 30g players are big, bulky, and brick like, but like Matt Miller and I discussed just today… They are freaking indestructible and they worked. The 2nd gen players were really nice and not really bricklike. I think the HD is a sexy looking device, but don’t put the old Zune to the pasture.
  2. She did agree with my stance on devices and not carrying an all-in-one device until the battery life gets better. I just posted about that recently if you remember.

That’s it for now… I will let you listen and enjoy. It was a good conversation.

Check it out at Zune Spring.

Sean does a little trading Zunes of his own, too. We talk about the recent article by Donald Bell of CNET about the Zune HD and how much it rocks, we answer questions from listeners, and of course we discuss new music and video in the Zune Marketplace.

Get this episode as a download in the Zune Marketplace software - here or listen now from the Zune Insider Podcast page at Zune.net.
